Hey all!!! Any one in the Tri state area looking for somthing to do NYE I got just the Party!!!!!! Yours truly DJ SKRIBBLE and the and Grammy award multi platinum ICONS of party anthems!!!!!!…… NAUGHTY BY NATURE!!! We both will be performing together @ ULTRA 88 @ MOHEAGAN SUN RESORT & CASINO DECEMBER 31rst 2009 to bring in 2010 the right way!!!! 2 Shows today… Its was real early and we are going to the DEFAC to eat breakfast, then off to our first show of the day. We will be traveling by helicopter!!!! Just when I thought it couldn’t  get any cooler,  it just did. The first FOB (forward operating base) we went to was very small and way out there. Its about as far out there as you can get!!! They were so happy to see us! We were the first group ever to visit! We were right there on the front lines with these guys. There was about 40 of them and i think 2 or 3 women.  They gave us a tour of there operation there. It looked like something out of a  movie. It was almost surreal. We toured there sleeping quarters and holy shit!!!!!!! It would blow your mind. EVERYONE THAT IS READING THIS SHOULD KNOW WE ALL HAVE REALLY REALLY GOOD!!!!!!!!! WITH NO COMPLAINTS AND ALL SMILES THEY SHOWED US HOW THEY LIVED UP THERE.. Ok it was time.  We did our performance in the mess hall!!!! It was very small, and nothing like the mega base. We had some technical issues due to the makeshift generators being used for the power. Kay Gee’s hard drive fried and my computer was acting up as well. We only had 3 hours total with this unit so we had to make it work!!!! WE DID JUST THAT!!! Heres where it gets really good. After the show and after the pix with each and every one of them, one of the commanders of the unit comes up to me, and rips his combat patch of his sleeve  and hands it to me saying….” THIS PATCH HAS BEEN ON MANY MISSIONS AND I WANT YOU TO HAVE IT FOR COMING OUT TO SEE US’!!!!! My knees just buckled and was very overwhelmed by his gesture and felt so honored that this guy felt this way, again seeing how important this tour is!!!!! I was blown totally away. It has now become a daily routine that these men and women continue to do so!!!! Each time gets more and more intense for me.

My first night sleeping on the base has really put everything in perspective!!!! We were greeted with so much love!!! you see this particular base never gets any body to come to it. Bad weather, cancellations, and the “ITS ALWAYS SOMTHING” syndrome seams to happen here. So we were the first to make it here in almost 2 years!!!!! SO YES, they were real excited to see us. We went straight to the DINING hall to eat, and I had pasta (surprised????) LOL. After dinner we were shown to where we would be staying. They are called CHU”s. Short for a little tiny trailer that sleeps two! No more  TV No more phone No more private bathroom or shower!!! TOTO WE ARE NOT IN KANSAS ANY MORE!! We are really in the war somewhere!!!!! WOW!!!  ONCE AGAIN IM SO GREATFUL FOR THE SACRAFICE OF THESE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN!!!One of the captains  here with us hooked me up with some DVDs to pass the time!!! THANK YOU!!! It really helped. I did however in a sick way enjoy it!!! It really made me think about so many things in my life and how I live it! As i laid there alone in my room with the silence and my home a world away I realized how much I TAKE FOR GRANTED!!!! From sometimes, my friends and family,  my work , and even my own life. This place will really make you think!!! I’m off to do the first show of the day!!!!!

Today was a travel day. I cant say where.  (DESTINATION UNKNOWN) We loaded aboard a military aircraft and hit the open Sky under the cover of darkness (so cool). Once in the air our group was invited on by one to see the cockpit!!!!!! Of course I had to be the first to go!!! I sat in the seat, put on the headset and felt like I was in “A BE ALL YOU CAN BE” comercial!!!!! It was an amazing experience especialy because my dad was USAF AND I WAS BORN ON OTIS AIF!!!!!! They let me try on the night vision goggles (EVEN MORE COOL!!) The Sky went from black to somthing straight out of a sick video game!!!!! They were an amazing flight crew!!! Did I mention that we had the whole Plane to our selves???!!!!!! Each day here keeps getting more amazing by the second. No more hotel from here on in. Now we will stay with our troops and live as they do. Im so excited and up for the challenge!!! I never felt so safe in my life. These best of the best men and women are taking great care of us. Thats all for now. Tommorrow we have 2 shows…..STAY TUNED

HEY EVERYONE ITS SO LATE HERE… I CANT SLEEP WE ARE ALL MEETING UP AT 4:AM TO WATCH GAME 6 OF THE WORLD SERIES!!!!!! THEN ITS OF TO DO OUR FIRST SHPW IN THE EARLY AM. I CAN WAIT!!!!!
